Spotify launches desktop app

The world's largest audio source streaming platform 'Spotify' has launched a desktop version service and 'My Library' function in Korea.


Spotify is constantly innovating the platform to maximize the time spent on the platform outside of the time to discover and enjoy music, along with the Ubiquity strategy that allows users to enjoy the best music streaming and listening experience anytime, anywhere. 

Spotify will provide desktop app services to all domestic users starting on May 18th. In particular, this desktop app is the latest all-new desktop app version that has recently begun to be offered to Spotify around the world. It provides a differentiated desktop app experience of Spotify released through a number of in-depth tests and studies, user surveys, and feedback analysis. 


The Spotify desktop app offers a variety of customization features and a wide range of sound quality options so that users can seamlessly connect the intuitive and personalized streaming experience they enjoy on mobile to desktop and notebook PCs. 

Users can easily customize playlists through a number of features, such as creating descriptions, uploading images, and adding tracks to existing playlists with just drag and drop, and conveniently search for music through a new search window and track tracks to new and existing playlists. 

User can also download and play his or her favorite music while offline by clicking the download button on the desktop app.
