Rolling Stones Selects 'Moon' by Jin as 'Best Boy Group Song Ever' Top 5

The group's BTS member Jin's solo song 'Moon' has been named in the top five 'Best Boy Group Songs of All Time' by American music magazine Rolling Stones.

Rolling Stones selected and published '75 Greatest Boy Band Songs of All Time' in an article on July 24. 

The 1st place was won by 'I Want You Back' by The Jackson 5 announced in 1969, 2nd N Sync 'Bye, Bye, Bye' (2000), 3rd New Edition 'Candy Girl' (1983) followed by 4th place Backstreet Boys 'I Want It That Way' (1999).

And beyond 20 years, BTS 4th album MAP OF THE SOUIL:7 and Jin's solo song 'Moon' took the 5th place. "'Moon' is a love song to fans," said Rolling Stone. "In the pop of the ecstatic guitar performance, Jin tells that fans are his earth and he is a shining moon as he orbits the Earth."

Immediately after the release, the song won the top spot on the charts in 93 countries, including the top spot on the iTunes chart in the United States (as of July 26), and received attention as the first track in the 14th iTunes chart of the BTS.

Jin has also been named as the 4th largest Korean solo singer with the largest number of Korean artists and 1st place in the global iTunes B-side solo tracks.
